A few wintry days in Washington, D.C. were packed with meetings, discussions, and planning. U.S. Wheat Associates (USW) and the National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG) held a Joint Winter Board Meeting to allow interaction between staff of both organizations, wheat farmers, USDA and legislators who represent wheat states. Again this year, the entire wheat industry came together at “Wheat 101,” an educational event in the Russell Senate Building presented by the National Wheat Foundation.
